I know diddly squat about the period, to be honest Terry, but I can recognise fine painting and figures when I see them! Well done! :D

i'm liking these a lot Terry, but suddenly I cant remember if you put the manufacturer up? Hmmm.....................suddenly appear to be having a c.r.a.f.t moment.................must be lack of beer! Damn nice painting as well sir!

Oh, no, you didn't! So what company did these fine specimens come from then Terry?

Thanks Sarge, The paint work is a combination of Paul Potter and myself. I have Paul paint them first and then when I get them I detail, brighten and highlight them to bring them more to my style of painting. I usually paint my own figures, but wanted to get these guys in action quickly, so went this route. I am very pleased with the results and they do look nice on the table top. I have also just finished another element of Dragoons and will put a picture of them up shortly. I am really pleased with how they came out. The figures are Donnington. A little larger than Essex , but mix fine with them. They are a bit clunky, but it kind of adds to their charm. Terry

PS Oops, the Imperial Command element and the Croats are Essex figures. Terry

I'd be interested to see what one of your figures looks like when you receive it from Paul Potter, and then what it looks like after you have "brightened them up".
