Not bad at all, matey!

Copenhagen has a large, very well-preserved Star Fort, called the Kastellet.

You can walk the earthworks, and the central section still has 17th c. period buildings standing... and they're still in use by the Danish Army. But they're open to tourists too, so you're wandering around with your camera while the Danes are going about their business with M16's.
(There's a regimental museum among these buildings, but it's only open in summer.)

Tojhusmuseet is the National Arsenal - massive medieval building with one floor of artillery - hundreds of pieces from bombards to guided missiles, laid out in rows the length of a footie field. Upstairs is just as huge, but has row after row of armour and small-arms.

£4 a pint, though...

Sorry Norman, but painting French floats a whole armada for me, but thats cos all that red does my nut in!!!!!!!

Red Lancers.

You anorak wearing pedant you!!!!!!! Most of the British army wore red, but at least it's a novelty with French units!!!! So poo to you with nobs on..........................................
